Marie Daniels School of Christian Education
Provides the resources that are necessary to fulfill the vision to make disciples of Christ. It is comprised of New Disciples Class, Life Enrichment Classes, Baptism, Baby Dedication, and the Teachers Certification Program.
FED UP Hunger Program
Program that partners with families during economic times from 30 to 90 days to give them groceries, counseling, resume evaluations and writing, clothing, and various other resources in order to help them have dignity while growing through their job and financial transitions. Since 2011, we have fed over 400 families and 1,603 individuals.
Provides total healthcare for our church and community, including health education and outreach, health fairs, blood drives, diabetes testing and management, and other healthcare and health-improvement programs. The community also hosts an annual Health Fair with free immunizations, provides annual HIV Screenings and Outreach through Nursing Home Visits.
Ensures that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that everyone feels Welcomed, Accepted, and Respected. This community is inclusive of our Greeters, Ushers, and Welcome Center Hosts.
Counsels individuals to make a commitment to accept Christ as personal Lord and Savior.
In the Black
Provides financial guidance and biblical principles for managing money God’s way by offering classes on budgeting, credit, investments, grants and entrepreneurship.
Responsible for the audio visual needs for all DC3 events and worship services, and for providing customer service in selling products..
Teens Grades 6-12 on Christian discipleship and empowers parents to fulfill their biblical roles and responsibilities. The growth of our youth is cultivated through Youth Worship Services, Vacation Bible School, an annual Back to School Blast, and various activities throughout the year.
Life Enrichment Center
Counseling for individuals, families, and married couples with the goal of providing spiritual growth and discipleship for people as they deal biblically with problems and difficulties. Annual events and activities include premarital counseling classes and a Celebration of Life Service to help those dealing with grief.
Provides comfort to the church and the community by visiting the sick, homebound, and bereaved.
Helps to get new disciples connected to ministry involvement and spiritual growth at DC3
Intercedes on behalf of the church, families, the community, the world.
Seeks to engage disciples through outreach, support, & participation in short-term missions. The vision of making disciples around the world has become a reality with 10-day mission trip to the West African Country of The Gambia in 2011, 2012, & 2016. Other mission trips include travel to Haiti and to Jamaica. This community also partners with the city of Desoto with participation in city-wide community service projects.
