Love our city. Be the church.
Bless DeSoto is the community outreach arm of Disciple Central Community Church and Prosperity Business and Community Development Center, working together to put faith into action and demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical, meaningful ways.
Through food distributions, community service projects, prayer outreach, support for families in need, nursing home outreach, and other initiatives, Bless DeSoto connects people with resources, encouragement, and hope.
Our mission is simple: meet real needs, build stronger communities, and be the hands and feet of Jesus throughout DeSoto and beyond.

Join us as we bless DeSoto — one act of love at a time. Whether through serving, giving, or simply showing up, you can help us bring hope and light to our community.

There are many ways to serve through Bless DeSoto. Each outreach opportunity allows you to put your faith into action, demonstrate God’s love, and make a meaningful difference by meeting real needs throughout our community.

Serving opportunities include:
Praying with and encouraging families during food distribution events
Assisting with food distribution and community outreach events
Registering families for food assistance
Packing and organizing food boxes for distribution
Delivering food and essential items to individuals and families in need
Visiting and praying with residents in nursing homes
Distributing flyers, prayer cards, and outreach materials throughout the community

Each year, Bless DeSoto organizes our Thanksgiving Outreach — a time when we come together to provide meals, prayer, and encouragement for families across DeSoto. Volunteers serve through setup, distribution, prayer teams, and community engagement. It’s one of the many ways we live out our mission to love our city and be the church.
